Community Guidelines

WorldCrown48 ("WC48", "we", "the Service") is a global fan-voting platform where people around the world support the Contestants they love. These Guidelines are the minimum commitments every Voter, Tournament organizer, and content contributor agrees to in order to keep the space safe and respectful.

Content and conduct that violates these Guidelines may be removed or blocked without prior notice. Repeated or serious violations result in permanent account termination and, where required by law, reports to law enforcement.

These Guidelines apply alongside the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Where they overlap, the strictest standard applies.

Everything on WC48 is built on five principles.

1. Respect — Every Contestant and Voter is a person. We do not treat people as products.
2. Consent — Someone's image, name, and identity may only be used with their consent.
3. Safety — Minors, vulnerable people, and victims come first.
4. Integrity — No manipulation, automation, or multi-account abuse to distort voting results.
5. Global respect — No degradation or exclusion based on country, race, gender, or religion.

The following content is not allowed in any form. It will be removed on sight, and the uploader will face the enforcement steps in §6.

2.1 Sexually Explicit Content

• Sexual acts, exposed genitalia, or material whose primary purpose is sexual arousal — images, video, or text
• Solicitation of sexual services, trafficking referrals, links to pornography
• Cannot be registered in any of the four cookie-consent categories shown in the modal

2.2 Content Involving Minors

• Any sexual or suggestive content involving people under 18 — Zero Tolerance
• Registering minors as Contestants (see §4 Contestant Eligibility)
• Ranking or evaluating the appearance or bodies of minors

🚨 If CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) is found, it is removed immediately, the account is permanently terminated, and the case is reported to the Korean National Police Cyber Investigation Bureau and the U.S. NCMEC (CyberTipline). This is a legal obligation under Korea's Act on the Protection of Children and Youth Against Sex Offenses, 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (U.S.), and the EU Digital Services Act.

2.3 Non-Consensual Imagery

• Private images taken or leaked without the subject's consent
• Revenge porn, hidden-camera material, screenshots of private conversations
• Unauthorized reuse or redistribution of images uploaded by others

2.4 Synthetic Media · Deepfakes

• Synthetic images, video, or audio of real people created without their consent
• AI-generated material made to defame or sexually harass
• Synthetic content presented as factual (political fakes, fake disasters, etc.)

Satire and parody may be allowed only when clearly labeled (e.g., "AI-generated").

2.5 Violence · Self-Harm · Hate

• Graphic depictions of killing, assault, or torture
• Content that glorifies, encourages, or instructs suicide or self-harm
• Discrimination or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or age

2.6 Harassment

• Insults, threats, or doxxing targeting an individual or group
• Coordinated defamation or vote brigading against Contestants or Voters
• Any form of contact aimed at minors or vulnerable people

2.7 Fraud · Spam · Abuse

• Manipulating voting results through multi-accounts, bots, or automation
• Connecting Tournament outcomes to betting or gambling
• Phishing, malware, scam links, unrelated promotional content
• Exploiting service vulnerabilities or deliberately causing load

2.8 Intellectual Property Infringement

• Images, logos, or video used without permission from the rightsholder
• Unauthorized use of protected marks such as FIFA® or the Olympic Rings® (WC48 is not affiliated with any official organization)
• Passing off someone else's content as your own

Default rule: Nudity is not allowed.

A limited exception applies only when all of the following are satisfied.

If any condition fails, the content is removed under §2.1. In ambiguous cases, the moderation team's decision is final.

• Age: Contestants must be 18 years or older (including public figures, celebrities, and athletes)
• Consent: Either self-registered by the person, or registered with the explicit consent of someone authorized to do so
• Identity: Fictional or virtual characters are only allowed in clearly marked dedicated categories
• Rights: Submitted images must not infringe copyright, likeness rights, or trademarks

If a minor is found to have been registered as a Contestant, the Contestant and all related Matches are removed immediately, and the uploader is subject to §6 enforcement.

Anyone who creates a Tournament is deemed to have committed to the following.

• Verifying eligibility (§4) for every registered Contestant
• Applying accurate categories and tags (including NSFW)
• Providing materials to the moderation team within 24 hours of a report
• Bearing first-line responsibility for any violation that occurs in their Tournament

Organizers who repeatedly violate the Guidelines permanently lose Tournament-creation privileges.

Depending on the severity, the following steps apply.

For §2.2 CSAM and §2.1 sexually explicit content, steps are skipped and the case proceeds directly to ④ or ⑤.

If you find a violation, please report it through one of the following channels.

• Response commitment: First review within 24 hours (business days)
• CSAM reports: Same email; we recommend including [URGENT-CSAM] in the subject line
• Appeals: policy@worldcrown48.com

Including the following helps us act faster.

1. The URL of the content, or the Tournament/Match ID
2. The type of violation (which item in §2)
3. Whether you are the affected person or a third-party reporter

The reporter's identity is not disclosed except where operationally necessary.

A user whose content has been removed or whose account has been suspended may appeal within 14 days of being notified.

EU residents may use Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution (ODR) under the EU Digital Services Act.

These Guidelines are updated in response to legal changes, newly observed abuse patterns, and service expansion. We will notify users of material changes through:

• In-service announcements
• Email to the address used at sign-up (for material changes)
• An updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page

Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.
